In response to your inquiry about the Cotton line, below is the information I extracted from the !History of Knox County OH by Hill: Emmett S. Cotton, farmer, Liberty Twp., Knox Co., b. July 3, 1828 s/o Harris w. Cotton b. Fayette Co., PA & migrated to OH. m. Abigail Craig d/o James Craig a pioneer of Mt. Vermon. He died in 1836. His wife m. Jeremiah Debolt. E. S. Cotton m. Martha Ewalt Dec. 1869. Children Frank E b. May 9, 1871 and Alice b. Jan. 19, 1876. I have not had time to do any further research on this family.
