He came to the US sometime before 1882 and married Sarah Hagens in Paterson, NJ, USA. They had 5 children: Henry, Sadie, John, Alexander & Alice. They lived in Paterson, NJ from 1882 thru 1896. Sarah & the children continue to be on the 1900 and 1910 cenus in Paterson, NJ, but Daniel is presumed to have returned to Ireland sometime between 1895/96 and 1900.
