I live in Co.Antrim N.Ireland..and have been trying for a number of years to trace 2 brothers that left these shores..around 1800.to live in America with very little success. The confusing and slightly annoying thing is...........That although this site is supposed to be world wide, 95% of people on it..only seem to be looking for family in one country..ie.America. As most of your ancestors came from this side of the pond (Ireland/Scotland )...I am surprised so little efford has been made to widen your search.
