There is probably no connection here, but a lot of names used were the same. My g-gf was Samuel Wallace Craig, raised his family in Pike County, IL, not too near Johnson county. His first son was named William Craig (b. 22 Aug 1842). My grandfather was named Wallace Hardin Craig (b. 26 Jun 1863). My father was named Arthur G. Craig (b. 27 Sept 1895), another of Wallace's sons was named Clarence (b. 3 Oct 1889). Samuel Craig was born in 1814 in Pennsylvania, moved to Illinois probably in the late 1830's. Probably had siblings in the area, but I have not been able to identify any for sure.
