I'm not sure where Manerva Catherine ABBETT was born. She COULD have been born in PA. All I know for sure is that she married Samuel "Huston" ALEXANDER in Sumner Co. TN on Jan. 12, 1856. Now, I'm not clear, you didn't ever say whether your George ABBETT had a daughter by that name, did he? Thanks for the information.
