My gr gr grandfather, JOHN CRAIG, was born about 1801 in NH.? He married LUCINDA ??? and they had 3 children who were born in NY----Andrew, John JR, and Emily.? John and his family moved to WI.? Do not know where or when Lucinda died. John remarried Delia ???? and they had five children: Sarah, Truman, Alford, Emma, and Squire. John died in 1863 in Berlin, WI.? There was a note at the end of his obituary in the Berlin newspaper as follows:? "Plattsburgh (NY) papers please copy"? leaving me to think he still had family in that area. Do any of you have CRAIG family who may have been in the PLATTSBURGH, NY area at this time?? Could there be a connection? Or, do you have any ideas how I could pursue this further?
