Will be glad to copy and send to anyone who is interested in this family. Nelson E. Craig was the son of Benjamin Frank Craig, born 1856 and Phillippa Harris, born 1856. This family orginated in Scott Co., Indiana Phillippa died in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Benjamin Frank Craig was the son of James W. Craig and Mildred Boswell, I have info. further back) This is part of the article: CRAIG'S WITH ONE SON CAPTURED, WONDER ABOUT 2 STILL MISSING. THIRD BROTHER MISSING IN ACTION AWARDED ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART "Charles Frank Craig, 24 years old, the third son of Nelson E. Craig, to be reported missing, has been awarded the Purple Heart decoration....Nelson Leroy Craig went down with the USS Langley and Russell Craig was aboard the USS Philsbury when she was sunk...."
