I have not received the copy of the journal just letters back 10 years ago telling me about it and the many stories about how they came to the USA etc. I did receive a copy of the general store ledger but haven't found any information about the store and I even went to the location of the store years ago and spoke to people who lived there but they weren't old enough to remember. I'm trying to reach my old contact and I'm afraid after 10 years he is deceased. It would be interesting to know if we had contact with the same person. I've left a message for who I think is his son with no reply. I had saved all my letters from this individual and it was great to re-read them to get myself back into the flow.
