James, Paula and others interested in the house picture. Some clues I noticed. 1. The circular front walk up to the house is not a common US type of entry off the street. 2. The house if very new. Notice the spindly trees planted along the street. 3. There is a small awning (or maybe a rolled up awning) along the porch openings 4. Notice the Roof line... a pyramidal shape with centrally balanced smaller roof above window sections. Very uncommon US arch. roofline ... If this picture was taken in the US ... it was in a developing area of fairly well folks ... with an ethnic architectural flair to the home design. .... Looks like pre WW2 but after autos were common (notice the curb) .... purely educated guess. I would vote for Wisconsin or Michigan part of the country ????? Gary D. Craig garygdc@worldnet.att.net
