I am looking for information on Mary E. SMITH who married Jesse Rankin ALEXANDER in the Maury County or Haywood County area of Tennessee. Jesse was born in Blount County, Tennessee on July 15, 1815 and died in Haywood County. He was a grandson to Oliver ALEXANDER and Mary CRAIG through their son, Benjamin Grayson ALEXANDER. Mary E. SMITH was born in 1821 in North Carolina and died on February 22, 1891 in Cabot, Lonoke County, Arkansas. The children of Jesse Rankin ALEXANDER and Mary E. SMITH include Deborah McCree ALEXANDER (my line) born April 22, 1846 in Haywood County, TN, died August 23, 1884 in Lonoke County, Arkansas, who married James Newton ALEXANDER; Benjamin Franklin ALEXANDER, born June 20, 1843 in Tennessee, married June, 1866 in Prarie County, Arkansas, married Emma Venvilla FLYNT; and Margaret ALEXANDER, born 1848 in Haywood County, TN.
