Judith, John and other interested in the house.;Good work on some key items ... I checked under heavy magnification ... the siding IS shake shingles. That strange roof line is still a key ... The asphalt shingle roofing (and shake siding) looks in very good (new) condition. And Philly and the like in the East are good possibilities .... That big tree in the back could have been planted with the house but its size indicates 60 to 100 years old (or there about) so it may have been older and left there when the house was built... No way of telling ... The roof line and the shake siding (and it could very well be green) are the keys .... the sharp angle of the roof indicates heavier snow areas ...... good sleuthing Gary D.
