    1. [CRAIG-L] Re: William T. Craig in OK City

    3. I've gotten two responses on this ancestor. Thank-you for responding. My William T. Craig died July 11, 1921--in Little Rock,Arkansas; he was living in a Confederate Soldier's Home called "Sweet Home". A real nice librarian @ Little Rock emailed me and she says he appeared on the 1920 census and it indicated he was born in 1841,Kentucky (family says it was Tenn). Anyway, he was buried in the National Cemetary in Little Rock. So, the funeral homes in OK City can't help me with that (maybe his son...). As for the land records, wasn't OK City still Indian Territory in 1889? Would they have Land records in I.T.? There was something of interest though. Also living in the Conf. Home was a Joseph H. CRAIG (wf: Hester) and he appears at the Craig site. Could these two old men have been related to each other and from the same area in MO? If either has an obituary, it might reveal something new. Are there any folks related to Joseph out there? Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
