Marybeth: In my CRAIG family I have a William who has a sister Matilda. Their parents were Charles Craig and Rachel Ashby. There were other siblings too. William served in the Civil War and after his marriage moved to Nebraska. The family remained in McLean Co., IL and perhaps this is where Matilda stayed. I have no records of her. Just to add to the confusion: We, too, have a WILLIAM CRAIG b.1873 in Nebraska. Don't have the name of his wife. He is the brother of HOMER CRAIG b.1877 in Ulysses, Nebraska, my husband's great-grandfather. They, along with their siblings, are the sons of HIRAM CRAIG b.1848 in Warren County, Ohio, and LUCINDA MICK(?) b.1855? in Ohio. Looking for some connection to our Nebraska Craigs..... Lin Mayberry
