They were originally from Madison Maine.  As far as I know, my grand mother, Ethel's family came from New Brunswick Canada.  I'm not sure what High School she went to but when I saw your message I got very excited.  I know Ethel is of Irish decent but I have been trying to find out where the Foss family originated from.  I see the quilt was given to another maker of the quilt.  Would love to get any info or pics if possible.  My grandmother was a very dainty and pretty woman. Are you related Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
