He moved to Portland, Maine in the 1860s and worked as a plasterer. He and his wife, Isabella Young (d. 1907), are buried in Bayview Cemetery in Portland with at least two of their children, Robert C. (1876-1936) and Johnnie (d 1870s). Joseph had two children from an earlier marriage: Richard and Mary J. Mary was married to William H. Offen and is also buried in Bayview Cemetery. Does anyone know about the descendants of Mary and William Offen? Any information about Joseph and Isabella's children, Richard, Annie, Robert, Joseph (or Josephine) and James W.? Many thanks.
