We know that out of the children from the first generation (William and Martha) there were the following children: Andrew, John Craig, Esther Craig, Joseph, James, William, Thomas, Elener, Martha, Sarah and Robert. William the child was born in 1783 and he obtained land in Sept, 1834 in Edgar County, Illinois. We also feel that Sarah Craig (born 1796) married a Jacob Housel and she died in Edgar County, Embarrass Twp, Illinois in 1851. We have found many of the children from Thomas made there home in Coles County and Edgar County (Samuel (for a short time), William Newton Craig, Henry William Craig (for a short time frame), Lucinda Craig who married a Warner, Mariah P. Craig who married a Robert's was also there for a short time. There is Craig's in the Edgar County, Illinois area that we have not been able to link to our Craig's. But we would love to see if there is a connection. Who is the oldest Craig you are researching and where were they born?
