Not Mine.....but thought useful to someone else on list John Craig, b: 15 Feb 1758 in Concord, New Hampshire, son of Andrew and Agnes Graham Craig. Had brother James SERVICE: Enlisted fall 1775 near Boston under Capt. Abbott and Col. John Stark sserving about 1 year. He marched to Canada by Lake Champlain to cover Arnold's retreat from Quebec, thence to the Hudson River and also went to Trentonm where he got a fever and was sent home. In 1777 he enlisted in Capt. Livermores company, 3rd Regiment New Hampshire line under Col. Schammel, Lt Col Coburn and Maj. Henry Dearborn. They went to Ticonderoga in mMay and stayed there until October. On the day of the British surrender he marched with the setached corps of acting light infantry to Albany and went to winter quarters at Reading, Ct. In spring of 1778 he went underGen. Sullivan up the Susquehanna and to the Genesee River against the Indians, crossed the Hudson and went back to Reading Ct. Discharged around 20 Apr 1780.
