    1. [CRAIG-L] Re: "FOOTERS" Solution Deletes Entire Message
    2. Dear John: Edith Ray and I have the same problem. Eventhough I highlight ONLY the text beginning with "CRAIG Mailing List", the ENTIRE message is deleted. I even tried putting the cursor on the text at the end and backspacing or putting the cursor at the beginning and hitting the delete key going forward, but AOL throws up the "Are You Sure You Want to Delete This Message?" window every time. So my choice is all or nothing. This could be why so many of us are unintentionally sending all of this footer text along with our replies. Maybe someone on the List who has AOL has an answer. Thanks, Barbara

    3. The trick is that if you are replying, i.e., you are creating a NEW MESSAGE, you can make whatever deletions you want. Rather than make the deletions in the message you have received, make the deletions in the REPLY message you are sending. Lin Worked for me on THIS reply...

    3. My server is Tampabay.rr.com and it also deletes the whole message. Luckily I tried it on a message I was going to delete anyway. I delete the entire message. However as you can see by the above message I was able to delete just the footer after I hit reply and the message was in my mail form. Maybe this can help someone else.
