A copy of a letter written by EBENEZER ALEXANDER, 1900 Chapel Hill, N.C., gives his line descending from OLIVER ALEXANDER, says OLIVER twin to JAMES, born September 26, 1740, had half brothers JOHN and JEREMIAH ALEXANDER. OLIVER mar MARGARET PAUL, who was half sister to DAVID and JOHN CRAIG. Ebenezer does not name OLIVER'S father, but thinks it may hve been JOHN, but did state he was from Scotland via Pennsylvania. This info was sent to me by another Alexander descendant of the line of JOSEPH and Sarah B.Alexander. Our Joseph died in Wilkes County, GA 1791.....Our Joseph and Sarah were married in Frederick Co., Va in 1777..... Also included in the info sent was the following: Joseph and Abigail on March 16, 1772 gave 60 pounds to JAMES and OLIVER Alexander. Both Oliver and Jeremiah named daughters Abigail. Does anyone hve any info on the descendants of Jeremiah Alexander...Could he be the missing father to our Joseph Alexander...As our Joseph was with a Jeremiah Alexander at the Battle of Kings Mtn...
