Do you, by any chance, have a single Lucy Craig in your chart. She inherited, temporarily, my g g grand father's summer farm in Tannersville, NY. I believe she was taking care of it for him and , according to his will, at her death his son would automatically receive it. But he actually got it before her death. The only possible connection I can find to the family is that my g g grandfather lived in Jersey City, and his daughter married William B VanVorst, whose father had an identical mansion to William Barrow-he had a married daughter named Ann Craig. William was from NYC and my g g grandfather was originally, also and worked in NYC. The one census I am sure of about Lucy says she was from NY. She is a total mystery to me . She is on an old map in Tannersville, NY, and the second home on the property, where she probably lived, was called Maple Cottage. He died in 1882- so that is the time period. She was old at that time, too. Sue, I'm sorry, but I have no records on a Lucy Craig from any generation. I have done a lot of research on my own with Family Tree Maker 16 and GenSmarts.
