There was marriage in our line between Liggetts of Tyrone and Craigs. There is a Margaret Craig listed as possible parent of William Craig. Ireland. My grandfather James STEVENSON was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1882. He was the son of James and Margaret (CRAIG) STEVENSON; he was the grandson of Thomas and Annie STEVENSON. His mother Margaret CRAIG was the daughter of Asken and Jennie CRAIG. My grandfather's family moved from Scotland to Strabane in the late 1880s. In 1903, my grandfather sailed to America from Londonderry with his cousins James and Christie CRAIG. I would love to hear from anyone who has a connection or information about the STEVENSON or CRAIG family. Thank you. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. His father was William Craig and his Mother was Lydia Stokely Craig. William was my GGG grandfather and Arthur was a brother of Eli #1 who was my GG grandfather. I think my father was named after Arthur. Two of the brothers and a sister moved to Warren County Ohio. I don't know where Arthur went, but could be Ohio since others went there. I was able to get a copy from Mrs. McNeil, who now lives in Boise, Idaho. It is 300 pages long, but would be glad to look up any names you might be interested in. The book is spiral bound but well done. She may still have some copies available at a minimal cost. Her book did follow my family lines back to James Ralston and Martha Smith Poultney married 1818 in Scotland. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
