John Craig reported that a church had been established at Boiling spings on Lover Reed Creek, with 42 families enrolled..." Since I am searching for John Craig who married Rachel Lehue (LeHew) in Wythe Co., Va. I am interested in establishing contact with anyone researching the above Rev. John Craig. Is it possible that my John Craig is the son of Rev. John Craig? My John Craig would have been born abt 1775/1778.

    3. Wanda: Most of Taliaferro and Polly's children are buried in unmarked graves, with only vague notions of where they are buried. Rev. Joseph Craig's grave is the most well-marked, because it was moved to Section D. in Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky. 2. Hi Bill Just wanted to thank you for getting me in touch with Bobi the experience has been wonderful. Yes her mother and my father grew up at the same time and yes they remember spending time together as children. I was able to locate the grave for James and Emma Craig and will be taking pictures when I go there from Nevada next week. Do you know if Rev. Joseph is buried in same cemetery as Rev Lewis . 2. William A. Davis
    3. The grave marked as that of Rev. Lewis Craig, son of Taliaferro Craig, is located near a farm house on the east side of the road between Minerva and Dover in Mason County, Kentucky. There is a small gated enclosure there, under small trees somewhere a bit north of the house. The gate has a plaque on it and encloses a modern stone with Rev. Lewis Craig's name on it, along with an original flat stone for "Dorcus, wife of Lewis Craig." Dorcus Noble being the name of Lewis Craig's son Lewis Craig Jr., I have long believe the grave might have been marked in error. At least one gravestone was visable outside of the gated graves when I was there. http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp?S=10&T=1&X=1239&Y=21452&Z=17&W=2 And this photo shows the ancient brick church said to be his last church. It is located on the west side of the road just north of the crossroads known as Minerva. This photo shows a small white church building on the east (right) side of the road, and Craig's old church is across the road and just slightly north from the white church building. http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp?S=10&T=1&X=1231&Y=21441&Z=17&W=0 Bill Davis wmadavis@kih.net ******************************************************************** * * * Fax (978)334-7850 * P.O.
