    2. Hi Kathy, My interest was peeked as you said your ggggggreat grandfather was Andrew Craig. My ggreat grandfather was also Andrew Craig his wife's name was Ann maiden name unknown. This couple is my "brickwall," can't seem to go back further. Andrew and Ann had a son Andrew who married Nancy Parker. They also had three sets of twin boys. I descend from the middle set. This couple is buried in Ohio at Kingscreek Baptist Church. Does any of this help in any of your research. Andrew was born abt. 1799 if memory serves me, in Va. Let me know what you find. Ellen

    3. Bonnie .... this guys family get more and more interesting .... this has great possibilities and you may have hit on why there is so little info for this particular John ... he and his wife could well have died prior to 1880 and the son ended up with an Aunt and Uncle ..... I doubt that they would have dumped him and headed west but there is a remote possibility that they were settling a place and left the son until they got things in shape .... Gary Gary D. 3. Gary & Paula, The John Craig bc 1847, s/o Wm. Barie Craig & Mary Robertson, was listed with his parents in 1860 in Franklin Co., Ky., age 13. 3. Open reply to Paula .... Your John W. date of birth is 1847 ... mine is 1857 but that could be from typo or miscalculation along the line ....The thing that really rang a bell was when I noticed the name Malinda ... The names Moore and John David also rang a bell .... John W. is the one member of the James Harvey's bunch that we have no further info on .... Our John W.'s grandmother's name was Malinda ... on his mothers side. We have a solid connection to the Moore Family in Mercer County, KY and this family was always calling folks David Henry or David Edward or John David and the like .... This branch of our family went to Indiana ... then Illinois and Missouri and some on the Kansas and points west ... some staying along the way ... The memorial is important to us, from the fact that the great majority of the signers subsequently found homes in Paxtang, Hanover, and Derry" (PA) "TO HIS EXCELLENCY, THE RIGHT HONORABLE COLLONEL SAMUEL SHUTE, GOVERNOUR OF NEW ENGLAND. We, whose names are underwritten, Inhabitants of ye North of Ireland, Doe in our own names, and in the names of many others our Neighbours, Gentlemen, Ministers, Farmers, and Tradesmen, Commissionate and appoint our trusty and well-beloved Friend, the Reverend Mr. William Boyd of Macasky, to His Excellency the Right Honorable Collonel Samuel Shuitte, Governour of New England, and to assure His Excellency of our sincere and hearty Inclination to Transport ourselves to that very excellent and renowned Plantation, upon our obtaining from His Excellency suitable encouragement; and further, to act and Doe in our names as his Prudence shall direct. 3. Hello! I am looking for information on a James Craig who lived in Millville, N.J. at one time. He was married to Hannah Lee. They had two sons, Lewis Ludlum Craig who would be my grandfather, and Samuel Craig. I think Samuel may have come over from Scotland. Lewis was born in New Jersey in 1856. Do not know what ever happened to Samuel or if he had a family. I do not know where James Craig was born or the year, I am presuming he came over from Scotland. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Patty ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Juno now offers FREE Internet Access! Try it today - there's no risk! 3. Hello Everyone, I thought it might be time to put my information out there again. So here it goes. I am looking for information regarding Albert G. Craig. He was born ( I think) in 1855 and in Pennsylvania somewhere. I have my ggrandfathers birth certificate and it says that his fathers age was 45 at the time of his birth and that was in 1900. He had at least one known son by the name of Ira Edward Craig born in 1900 In Summerfield Kansas. Ira had 12 kids with wife Mercedes Leona Collier . All were born in Lincoln Nebraska. Bernard Eugene Craig is one of those 12 and my grandfather. He was born January 22, 1924. My father is one of Bernard¹s children. His name is William Lee Craig and he was born November 10, 1945 in Berkeley California. If anyone has any information at all, please contact me. I would be so grateful! Thank you Sherri -- Where there's life, there is hope."
