Randy: Thanks. That power of prayer is wonderful. Thanks to God for that gift. Bud
Vicki: You are absolutely great. Thanks so much for the prayers and the kind words. I hope your husband's bladder cancer is cured. My mother (86) has just completed her treatments for the same thing. She never got sick or had any side effects, but she doesn't get her checkup until Dec 5. I feel that God has allowed her to be cured, and I pray the same for your husband and any others out there who is ill. God bless all of you. Bud
Just to also say that I will also be in prayer for you and your family as I also believe in the power of prayer. Randy

<Subject: Re: [CRAIG-L] Request For Prayer> Bud and the rest of the Craig Family, I too am heartened by the expressions of love found through the family lists. I will continue to pray for my friends who have trouble, as I know how precious those prayers are. My husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer this month and we have been overwhelmed with prayers. Knowing that people who have never met you but care about you, brings comfort to wounded bodies and souls. God has truly blessed the entire CRAIG family! And he will continue to do so! cousin Vicki Vaughn in Illinois archerev@accessus.net

Bud and family, We know first hand how powerful prayer can be, and want you to know you and yours are included in ours! For some reason my husband's Grandfather Craig's family wants to stay anonymous, but since we have a grandson named Craig, I refuse to give up! So it goes with prayer and belief, Do NOT give up, and trust the Lord to do what He thinks is the right thing. Shirley Antrim
Hello cousins, in-laws and out-laws... I am a newcomer to the CRAIG list. My name is Joe Hardman, retired, living in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. I am married to the former Eileen Funk granddaughter of Josephine Craig. Josephine Craig was born 3 Mar 1868 probably Ashland Cty, OHIO Her father: James W Craig b 1846 She married 22 Oct 1890 to Bertie Ardene FUNK She had the following children: Barbara Eldora Craig Cornell William Hugh (father of Eileen) Josephine Mary Mildred Josephine Craig died Aug 1941 She & her husband are buried in the Jeromesville, OHIO cemetary. I do have a list of her siblings (total 8 including Josephine). Also have a photograph taken ca 1905 of a Craig Family Reunion at the Roby's (Robey's) near Ashland. Unfortuantely there is no identification of the people in the photo. I would be glad to share (attach a .jpg image) upon INDIVIDUAL request. Donna and Dale. Thanks for the prayers. The family will be comforted by all this. Bud
Marybeth: Thanks so much. The Craigs are wonderful people. I enjoyed your message so much. Very comforting. And thanks for the offering of the Holy Mass. The offering of the Body and Blood of Christ makes pain and suffering so much easier and will help the family be comforted in His wonderful love. With so many prayers from the extended family throughout all the churches, how can anyone go wrong? Thanks again, from another Catholic Craig. Bud
Vickie: Thanks, and your family will be in my prayers, too. Bud

Dear Bud and others on the list, I for one would NOT be upset about increased email traffic on the Craig list like what I found this morning. I have been reading the list for a few months and have NOT found my Craigs (Antrim Ireland to Wisconsin circa 1850). Still, I have enjoyed the postings and thought about being related to you all through a mysterious connection that might never be documented. Bud, one of your Catholic Craig cousins is praying for you, and I will have a mass said for your intentions and concerns. Seeing the kind responses and generous offers of prayers has made me feel very happy this morning. With affection, Marybeth Shea College Park, MD (My great great grandfather William Craig was about ten when he emigrated. He had eight beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. Anna Jane Craig of Mitchell, South Dakota was my great grandmother.)
