    1. [CRAIG-L] Eliza Jane Craig
    2. I have an Eliza Jane Craig, and I was hoping the following info might sound familiar to someone. Eliza was born 28 Feb 1880 and died in the late 1960's. She married Joel E. Ivie 26 Dec 1897. We believe she was born in Arkansas and that her father was Thomas Craig, but so far haven't been able to find them in the census. We have based the year of birth and marriage off of her husband's birth date. We know for sure that Joel was born 2 Jan 1875 in Arkansas, and that he is five years older than she, and that Eliza married Joel when she was only 17. They had at two children: Della Lena Ivie b. 7 Dec 1901 in Oklahoma and Joe E. "Little Joe" Ivie. He died at the age of 3-5 years old. Feel free to e-mail me at eddy.pool@juno.com. Thank you. Henry was the brother of Elizabeth Huffman of our line (John Craig m Elizabeth Huffman in Rockbridge County VA in Jan of 1785. Henry and Millie went to with the rest of the family to Garrard County, KY ... he died there in April of 1827. 3. I have temporarily added to my online images a copy of an article which suggested that the portrait of Polly Hawkins Craig was actually a likeness of another "Polly Hawkins," a Polly SHIPP who married Martin Hawkins and resided in Scott County, Kentucky. This Polly apparently left some sort of memoir of interest to Scott County historians. She also had CRAIG connections. If my info is correct, Martin Hawkins, who married Polly Shipp, was the brother of Agnes Hawkins, who married Elijah Craig, son of Taliaferro Craig Jr. and grandson of Polly Hawkins Craig. Another connection is that Polly Shipp Hawkins's daughter Mary Martin Hawkins married Jefferson T. Craig, son of John Craig (md. Ally Todd) and grandson of Taliaferro Craig Jr. I've recently corresponded with someone interested in Polly Shipp Hawkins, so I uploaded the article so that she could download it if she wanted it. 1. [CRAIG-L] Craig TN, ILL, IA
    2. I am looking for the parents of Mary Craig of Wiilliamson County, Tennessee. She would have been born about 1750-1760's. I believe that she died there. Mary Craig married John Wilson about 1778. One of their children: Hugh Wilson is born Near Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. on 10 Mar 1780. (There are many Craig's and Wilson's in Williamson County at the time period.) This family is also associated with the following counties: Blount, Greene, White, all of Tennessee. Schuyler, McDonough, and Hancock of Illinois. Lee County, Iowa. Any info concerning this family is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cathleen Sheree Gudino

    1. [CRAIG-L] B. F. Craig / Rebecca Street in WV and IN
    2. I am looking for any information which connects to B. F. Craig who I think married Rebecca Street in northern WV. Rebecca was born in Maryland to Allen and Nancy Zimerly Street about 1835. I'd guess B. F. Craig was born in WV or VA about 1830. Their children were: 1. Charles M. Craig b. Feb. 1851 ?Marshall Co., WV 2. George Washington Craig b. 16 Nov. 1855 Wetzel, Co., WV 3. Alonzo A. Craig b. Dec. 1857 Wetzel Co., WV 4. Nancy L. Craig b. ca. 1860 Indiana 5. Samantha Craig b. ca. 1862 Indiana 6. Porter Jasper Craig b. 1866 Indiana 7. Elizabeth Craig b. 1868 Indiana B. F. Craig died while the family lived in Indiana, so Rebecca returned to West Virginia where she married to William Wilson Myers and had two more children: 1. Columbus Myers b. ca. 1874 Wetzel Co., WV 2. Fountain Myers b. ca. 1875 Wetzel Co., WV Any help would be greatly appreciated. Melanie (Mullet) Shepherd

    2. Dale K. Arthur
    3. Dale and I would like to extend to you the wishes for a blessed and peaceful holiday season. We know that everyone of you is unique and special. For our Christian, Jewish, Buddist, and all the rest, we wanted to say hello, we are thinking of you, and that we are wishing for you the best New Year possible. Whatever your goals are, whether you are searching for homes for "unwanted" Meezers, trying to rid the US of the horse slaughters, trying to find that next generation backwards on the family tree, or enjoy your favorite pursuits, we with you that and more. We have enjoyed conversing with you this year, and feel our lives have been more blessed for the contact. We look forward to the coming year with you, our friends and loved ones. With love, Dale & Donna Arthur
