    1. [CRAIG-L] Alexander Craig m. Ann Cunningham May 22 1849 Eastwood, Renfrew, Scotland
    2. Alexander Craig married Ann Cunningham 22 May 1849 at Eastwood, Renfrew, Scotland ... I believe they had five children, all born in Scotland: William Cunningham Craig, born 20 Sep 1854, christened 17 Dec 1854 Elizabeth Crig, born 30 Mar 1859, christened 1 June 1859 James MacDougall Craig, born 14 Nov 1857 (or 1851) , d. 1922 North Andover, MA, USA Ann Craig, born 29 Jan 1862, christened 13 Apr 1862 Alexander Craig, born 3 Dec 1864, christened 5 Feb 1865 The four christenings wre recorded at the London Road United Presbyterian Church, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. One of the daughters married Alexander Peacock in Scotland. She was in the United States (working at the Nevins Home in Methuen, MA) when her brother James MacDougall Craig died in 1922, but she returned to Scotland sometime later. James MacDougall Craig married Ellen Wilson (born 16 Jan 1860 Scotland, died April 13, 1938, North Andover, MA) in Scotland and they came to the United States in 1880. James MacDougall Craig was my great-grandfather. I would be delighted to hear from anyone connected to these Craigs. Kay Gleason [email protected]

Have you actually been to the Ogle-Hesson Cemetary? I tried to find it this summer and couldn't. I did find a cemetary in Rinard Mills in Monroe County that has several Hupps buried in it. I have a feeling that William Craig may not be buried where ElizabethHupp craig is. He did remarry after she died. I have hit a dead end with him though other than to find out that his father's name is James. Do you know any more? I am a ggggranddaughter of William. My line goes from William to Philip to Winfield Scott to Henry Wilbur to my father John. There is a web site called Hupp family tales that has some good stories about Philip Hupp and his family. I also have a book written by Tim Hupp called the Hupps of Duck Creek. But Elizabeth Hupp Craig's family isn;t on there. The courthouse in Monroe County burned up years ago, soI am not sure how much inf , there is still available. For Beverly,my sisterhas returned my info., so if you would like copies send me your snai! l mail address and I will send it to you. I also have a picture of Philip Craig in his Mexican War unifor , if anyone would like that emailed to them. Janet Craig Jenkins
