My COWPER'S lived in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England and from there emigrated to St. Louis, MO. From there, some branches went to Illinois while another went to California during the 1849 Gold Rush, continuing up to Victoria, BC, Canada in 1860. More of the COWPER family emigrated directly from England to Victoria, Canada in the late 1860's. Sorry I can't connect to your line!
