I have CowdEn [vs CowdIn]in Mercer Co. PA in my Elliott Genealogy. Are these separate lines or just a change of spelling? There is a "old" 2.5 mile long east-west COWDEN road in Wilmington Twp., Mercer Co. about 0.5 miles north of New Wilmington, Lawrence Co. PA. Does any one know for who it was named?
