Cowden. Linn and Henry moved to Erath Co., TX., and both died in Erath, being buried at Bunyan Cemetery, Bunyan Community, outside of Dublin, TX. I know the name "Leonard" runs in the family in later generations, but I have found no evidence that Lynn was named Leonard on any record I've found for him. Clarissa moved back to Benton Co., AR., after Henry's death. My great grandmother was Mattie Lavina (Cowden) Lawson, called "Ma Lawson," who was around seven years old when her father (Linn C. Cowden) died. She also remembers that "Aunt Clarashy" wrapped her beds up to keep the sand out of them on the move back home. Linn C. Cowden first moved to Johnson Co., TX, then on to Erath, where he met and courted Brunette Biggs. She was the daughter of William Henderson Biggs and Sina Lee Connally. Brunette's mama died while Brunette was young, and her father remarried to Sarah Elizabeth Roberts, if I remember right. I've been to the Bunyan Cemetery and have seen their (Linn and Henry's) tombstones. Sometimes it takes me a long while to get to my email, so don't give up on me!
