David and his children are mentioned in Joseph's will in Boone County, Missouri. Both the Cowdens and the Phillippes lived in Wythe County, VA and then Knox County, IN before emigrating to Boone County, MO. Trying to prove that David was married to (Margaret ?) Cowden.
