My name is Alan PAUL and I live in Victoria Australia. I an researching my family tree and have in one of my Scottish Ancestors I have COWDEN as a middle name. Her name is Agnes COWDEN McKEAN born abt 1827 in Gorbals, Lanark, Scotland. Her parents were Alexander McKEAN and Winifred (Unity) PATERSON. I do not know who Alexander McKEAN's parents were but know that Winifred (Unity) PATERSON's parents were Redmond Paterson and Isabella CLARK. Is there anyone out there either researching anyone listed above or have any information on them. I would be gratefull for any information received.
