This Alexander was physician in Cedarville Greene Co OH and Washington IA and had family including at least one son Alexander COWDEN b 1848/49 Greene Co OH who in 1871 married Mary Holcomp in Ainsworth IA. This Mary Fulton b around 1812/13 was dau of Andrew FULTON and Margaret ANDERSON (1782-1838) who arrived Xenia Greene Co OH from Scott Co (near Lexington) in early 1800s. Mary had sister Jane Fulton who m Rev. James Adams lived Hanover IN and brother Andrew Fulton b 1816 who was physician in W. Liberty Logan Co OH.
