She was born January 2, 1867, in Marion County, Arkansas. I believe her parents were Alfred H Cowan and Louisa Elizabeth "Lizzie" Mears. At one time she married my husband's g grandfather, James Gideon Thompson, around 1886. They had 3 daughters, Leta, Kate, and Mabel. I have tried everything I can think of, but can't find a death date, or if she died while married, or divorced. I do know that James married Clora Bogle and had four children, one of which was my husband's grandfather, Lemuel O'Neil Thompson, born 1897.
