I know that most of John Cowan's children were born in Dutchess Cnty, NY. He had at least two daughters (names unknown) and six sons: Peter, Isaac, John Seaver, Andrew, David, and Alexander D. I have guestimated that David Cowan was probably born btwn 1720 - 1744 and John Cowan was probably born btwn 1745 and 1765. Any information on their origins would be most appreciated. Nan
