Does anyone know a death date/place for James Cowan, born circa 1826 in South Carolina to James Cowan and Frances Garrett? He was living in St. Clair county in 1880 with his wife Margaret and family. I found his widow living in St. Francis county Arkansas with their youngest son Louis/Lewis in 1900 and 1910. Apparently he died somewhere along the way from AL>TN>AR between 1880-1900.
