Tp Geralyn in Oregon and Peggy in TX I have just recently started research on my Cowan side again. I searched through the archives in rootsweb and found in the year 2000 month July, two differant messages were posted on Alexander and Robert Cowen from Chester, S. C. one of these were from a will of John Cowen. I descend from Robert M. Cowan of Newton County, Ga. through his son James Cowan. Can either of you tell me if this John Cowen in SC is the father of my Robert M. Cowan? Cheryl in Ga.
