I was raised on Kirklands Ck. too. Her information should be at the Swain County Register of Deeds, especially her Death Certificate. She was a sister to Clifford Warren who died years before her. Clifford Warren's ex-wife was over the Register of Deeds for many years until retirement several years ago. Her name was Maggie Warren.
