However, I do have my own Cooper line that I finally pick up in Bedford County, Tennessee after they left Virginia. So far we do not think that the two lines are related. My husband had done the testing for the Surname Project, but I have not one as of yet from my Cooper line that has been tested. I do not at present know of any other Cooper-Cowan marriages. My Cowan line is the 1720 Immigrant Four Brothers and I am on top of page 84 of Fleming's Cowan From County Down.
