I dont have much info but here is what I do have: Sam Cowan fought in the war of 1812,he was born in NC and married Sarah Keith of Va and had 7 kids. Eli was born in 1819 then came Riley,Samuel,William,Margarette,James and Stephen. Eli married and had 4 kids. Marion,Born 11-9-1857 in Arkansas,Marion married Molly Jones ,they had 8 kids: Cleopatra Ann born 1-8-1877,married John Wm Daniel Clay Para Lee Myrna (Elmira) born 1879 Norah Julie Annie Ida My line comes thru Cleopatra,who is my greatgrandmother.
