My gggrandmother was Betty Cowan Holt and I am seeking information on her family who I believe lived in and around Hays County Texas. Any information on her husband Franklin (Frank) Holt would be helpful. Betty Cowan (Elizabeth) born January 1859 in Texas died 1936, parents unknown, but do know from census records that her father was born in Kentucky and her mother was born in Arkansas. Betty married Franklin (Frank A ?albert or abner?) born born about 1855 in Texas died 1941, son of John Holt and Lucretia ?. they were married about 1878-1879 in Texas. They lived in central Texas in Hays, Blanco, Coleman and possibly other areas in the central Texas area. Betty Cowan had brothers and I believe their names were Andrew, Charles, Lonnie, Tommy and Harry or Harvey.
