Before 1765 when my Hugh was born in Ireland....came to PA (unknown where)....he was married in 1794 in Bourbon, KY. (age 29) to Margaret Buchanan d/o George Buchanan. Children were: l. Wilson b. 1797 in KY (my ggg-grandfather) m. Edith Griffith d/o Elias Griffith of NC (they stayed & died in Ripley Co., IN) 2. Martha b. 1799 in IN. & m. Alexander Black; 3. William b. 1800 & m. Margaret Buchanan (cousin); 4. Margaret b. 1804 & m. Wm. Fowkes; 5. Jane b. 1805 & m. Tarlton Burton; 6. John W. b. 1807 & m. Elizabeth Buchanan (cousin) KY>IN>MN Hugh & Margaret stayed in Kentucky according to census records, but many of their kids came to Jefferson, Ripley,Switzerland, & Jackson counties in Indiana and lived their lives.
