HI: I'm searching for WILSON COWEN of Tenn., born in 1820, who married ELIZA, born in 1824. Wilson's granddaughter, ADA BOWMAN, was my great-grandmother. I have traced Wilson to Brown County, Ohio, after 1850. I'd like to know where he came from in Tenn., and what happened to all of the family members after 1870. They disappear from the Brown Co. Census after that year, that is, all but Eliza Cowen (Emmons), who raised Ada after her mother Elizabeth Bowman died in 1870. Wilson and Eliza moved to BROWN CO., OHIO sometime after 1843. I believe Eliza died and that Wilson remarried MIHALY HIGHWARDEN, probably of Brown Co.
