His name was Harvey W. Cowan...born in MN in 1863, but was adopted by his grandfather before his 7th B.D., William L. Cowan and was moved to New York He died in Chicago in 1919...he married Grace Upham. This is all the info I have on him.. I have been trying for years to find out who Harvey's parents were, and why he was adopted by his grandfather. Until I find out who the parents are, I'm at a deadend... If anyone has ANY info that they think may help, I would appreciate so very much the help...Without a County in MN where he was born, I can't even look into any records. Since he was adopted so young, I can't find any record of him in MN. Thank you soooo very much kelley kcajun63@aol.com 1880 Census, Darien, Genesee, New York Name Relation Marital Stat.
