William I am told through handed down stories, served and was wounded in the Civil War. Unknown dates of birth or death of William and Jane. They did reside in and around Vevay, Indiana (Dearborn County). They had 2 daughters: Mary, who never married and died approx 1925. Their other daughter, Ellen Jane (my Grandmother) was born Jan 6, 1863 at Vevay, Indiana, married Henry Caseltine in 1887 and died Oct. 2, 1952 in Aurora, Indiana.
