I have been told that William served and was wounded in the Civil War. I do not know the dates of birth, marriage, or death of William and Jane. They did live in and around Veva, (Dearborn County) Indiana. They had 2 daughters: Mary who never married and died approx 1925. The other daughter, Ellen Jane (my Grandmother) was born Jan.6, 1863 in Vevay, Indiana; married Henry Caseltine in 1887; and died Oct. 2, 1952 in Aurora, Indiana.
