COWAN/PATTERSON, Agnes - D20/6/1846 - At Cardoness cottage, parish of Anwoth on the 20th ult., aged 94 years, after only a few hours' illness, Agnes Patterson, spouse of John Cowan, who is in the 98th year of his age, and was able to attend his wife's funeral, and at the interment laid her head in the grave. The couple had lived as man and wife together for the long period of 70 years.
