Six, may have been married to an Ellen Cowan, according to my family bible. (No dates, birthdates, marriage dates avail). My grandfather was allegedly born in Johnson City TN Oct 17, 1894. A handwritten entry in same bible states: "Ellen Six dide (sic) August 2, 1896". I've been browsing various databases in and around TN, and am so far, unsuccessful. Franklin was on 1900 census, living with his father Samuel, on Samuel's farm Reed Creek/Crockett's Depot in Wythe County; both enumerated as 'widowed'. I have no information as to how/where/when Frank may have met/married Ellen. The only other document that supports this possibility is my grandfather's SS-5 he submitted in the 1940's, where he lists his birth city as Johnson City TN; and his parents as Frank Six and Ellen Cowan.
