Cowen. Robert N. Cowen is my G-G-GreatGrandfather. According to the paperwork that I have he was born in Versailles, Ripley County, Indiana in 1853. He enlisted in the calvary in 1875 in Cinncinati Ohio. And he had a brother Lewis F Cowen who lived in Los Angeles California in 1930. I believe Robert and Lewis parents to be Dorthe A Kirtley and George Cowan, they were married and lived in Ripley County Indiana. Thank you, With gratitude, Martha
