COVEY on page 12 of "Covey Cousins"-Sept 1998 issue. He was also one of the original signers of a pledge of Dutchess Co. patriots, to follow all dictates of the Continental Congress, in the year 1775, per James in his book titled "History of Dutchess County, New York With Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of Some of It's Prominent Men and Pioneers", - LB
