Looking for any info on several YARNES/YARNS/YEARNS who were in Broome Co (or anywhere!) in 1820 and 1830: Consider YARNS Robert YARNS Ward YARNS This family married into two or three different COVEY lines....What was the connection and where? Consider YARNS was b. c1772 NY, and appears to be living with Robert aged 50, likely a son in 1850 In 1850, the mortality list for Triangle, Broome County, included: Rosana YARNS ae 72, widow, b. NH d. March Susannah YARNS ae 67, d. July Does anyone have knowledge of these folks, or any background on them? YARNS is such a rare name, I can't find ANYONE working on this name. There were YARNS who married into COVEY numerous times, but we can't seem to find out anything about teh family. Would also like anyone with knowledge of a: Esther YARNS, b. 17 May 1767, who m. William COVEY 1781 NY Thomas YARNS (aka Harns), a Loyalist of Kingsbury, Charlotte County (Washington County), NY. He had a son Gilbert YARNS...they removed to Ontario. I'm V-e-r-y interested in this family! ? YARNS, who married Samuel COVEY, Loyalist from Fort Ann, Wash Co, NY to Quebec.
